Our Helping Hands program allows community members of all ages and backgrounds to volunteer on the farm to support our mission of ending food insecurity in our rural East Tennessee community. We donate produce from our fields to Second Harvest Food Bank so individuals who volunteer their time with us will get to plant, cultivate, or harvest in our fields while seeing first-hand where the produce in our food system comes from.
Volunteers may also participate in other tasks around the farm, and everyone who contributes their time is allowing more of our neighbors in need to get access to fresh, organic food.
The volunteer season is April through November.
Volunteer shifts are Friday – Sunday from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.
