From the Ground Up

CHFF’s From the Ground Up program is a safe and supportive work training program that helps to empower and provide new jobs for folks who are in recovery and who have experienced Incarceration.

Session Information

From the Ground Up Makers will commit to Mondays & Tuesdays & Thursdays from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.

SESSION ONE

Enrollment: February 24th – March 20th
Programming Dates: April 6th – July 6th

SESSION TWO

Enrollment: April 20th – May 22nd
Programming Dates: June 8th – September 8th

SESSION THREE

Enrollment: June 1st – June 31st
Programming Dates: August 17th – Nov. 16th

Program Benefits

Training

Forty days of culinary, agricultural, and maintenance workforce training; including planting, harvesting, food preparation, car and tractor repair.

Access

Participants will receive access to our farm fresh produce, cooking classes for preparing nutritious meals, resources to eat healthier on a budget.

Services

Comprehensive, wrap-around health and human services provided by program partners to support overall wellness and healthy lifestyles.

Education

Classes related to employment, wellness, and life skills to ensure participants are equipped with the skills and support to enter the workforce.
